Irene is currently a PhD student at the Department of Statistical Sciences “Paolo Fortunati”, University of Bologna.
The Phd “Future Earth, societal challenges and climate change” is a trans-disciplinary programme that aims to address the challenges of our society in the threat of climate change. The position is inserted into the European Project: Population Dynamics under Global Climate Change – POPCLIMA, with principal investigator Raya Muttarak. Irene’s field of interest relates to the impacts of climate change on human fertility, both in the context of climate related hazards and in that of fertility intentions in low-fertility countries.
